After talking with many buyers at the Hong Kong trade show in April 2026, I noticed several common questions that almost every drinkware buyer asked:
- MOQ
Most buyers asked about MOQ first. Normally, we quote around 2–3k pcs depending on the model, but many buyers still prefer lower quantities, especially for testing the market.
- Price
Price sensitivity remains very high. In fact, if a buyer directly tells you the price is too high, that is already valuable feedback. Many buyers don’t even comment on pricing. Some serious buyers don’t ask about price immediately, but they are still a minority.
- Customized designs related to their country
When buyers saw products with logos, local elements, or branding related to their own country, they were much more likely to stop and ask detailed questions. Customized branding still attracts strong attention.
- Material & insulation performance
Many buyers asked whether the tumbler is double-wall stainless steel, whether it is truly vacuum insulated, and how long it can keep drinks hot or cold.
- Trending styles & modifications
Buyers were very interested in best-selling styles. They also often asked whether certain parts could be modified, such as lids, handles, straws, or colors.
- E-catalog requests
Most visitors were in a hurry and preferred receiving an E-catalog directly by email rather than discussing too many details at the booth.
- Factory background
A very common question was: “Are you a factory?” and “Where is your factory located?” Buyers still care a lot about direct manufacturers and supply chain reliability.
Trade shows are still one of the best ways to understand real buyer concerns face to face. Every conversation gives valuable market signals.
